Best Nature for Spheal, Sealeo, and Walrein in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

What Nature is best for Spheal and its evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Arceus?

In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, the Nature of a Pokémon will affect the growth of two of a Pokémon's stats (attack, defense, special attack, special defense, or speed) and can be used to fine-tune a Pokémon's effectiveness in battle. Natures are important to a Pokémon's performance and can be found on a Pokémon's summary page.

Spheal, Sealeo, and Walrein are powerful Ice and Water-type Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. By the final evolution, Walrein, these Pokémon will have a great special attack stat, which allows them to do huge amounts of damage in battle if used carefully.

Best Natures

  • Quiet: Special Attack (+), Speed (-)
  • Modest: Special Attack (+), Attack (-)

How to choose the best Nature

Because these Pokémon specialize in special attacks, it is best to have a Nature that best complements this. Quiet Nature will increase the special attack stat at the cost of speed, which shouldn't have too much of a negative impact during battle. Modest Nature will increase special attacks at the cost of physical attacks. If this Nature is chosen, players must remember to use special attacks in battle as those will be the ones that benefit from the Nature.

The best Nature will ultimately come down to playstyle and how players use their Pokémon in battle. If players don't rely heavily on special attacks, then it is best to go with a different Nature for these Pokémon.
