Pokémon Legends: Arceus is the latest entry in the Pokémon franchise, and the series has several staple features in each mainline Pokémon game that fans are aware of, one of the most prominent constants in the games being the ability to catch shiny Pokémon. Shiny Pokémon return for Pokémon Legends: Arceus and players can scour the open world to find these rare creatures throughout the Hisui region, but how often will researchers encounter them?
The default Shiny Odds in Pokémon Legends: Arceus are 1 in 4096, meaning players should encounter a single shiny for every 4096 creatures they meet. These shiny odds fall in line with other mainline entries in the Pokémon series, with the most recent example being Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
