Where to find Shieldon/Bastiadon and how to catch in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Shieldon is a Generation IV Pokémon with a variant that was added as Pokémon number 208 in the Pokémon Legends: Arceus Pokédex. Like most Pokémon in the game, Shieldon and Bastiadon show up in specific areas and have unique features that you should know if you want to add it to your collection.

Shieldon Locations

There is only one area where you can get Shieldon and Bastiadon.

• Coronet Highlands: You can find both Pokémon in some space-time distortions in the Coronet Highlands, which are highlighted on the map below.

How to catch Shieldon

Shieldon can be caught like any other Pokémon when you are in a space-time distortion. Like with other Pokémon games, you can greatly increase your chance of success by weakening Shieldon first. Shieldon and Bastiadon are both extremely weak against Fighting and Ground Pokémon, so be sure to bring a Pokémon of one of those types if you are going hunting for them.

Shieldon Evolutions

Shieldon is the first form in its evolutionary line. It can be evolved by going into your Pokémon stash and manually evolving it once it has met the right conditions.

  • Must be level 30 to evolve into Bastiadon.
