How to get Sylveon in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

To evolve Eevee into Sylveon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you must meet two conditions—high friendship and learn a Fairy-type move. Eevee will only evolve into Sylveon if it has a high enough friendship and knows a Fairy-type move. If you do not have a Fairy-type move, Eevee will instead evolve into Umbreon or Espeon through friendship.

Eevee will Baby-Doll Eyes at level 15, making it the first Fairy-type move. You can also use a TM to teach Eevee a Fairy-type move, such as Charm. Alternatively, you can find a wild Tera Sylveon and bypass having to evolve Eevee. We found ours in North Province Area Three at the marked location below.

How to raise friendship quickly in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

You can increase Eevee's friendship through several ways to quickly evolve it into Sylveon. The best way would be to have picnics with it, where you can feed it sandwiches, play with it, or give it a bath. Repeat this, and it will quickly increase Eevee's friendship. You can also feed it berries that raise its friendship, but these also decrease stats, so you may not want to go this route.

Finally, you can give Eevee the Soothe Bell to hold, as this held item will increase Eevee's friendship. If you are wondering if Eevee's friendship is high enough, head to Cascarrafa and find the Friendship Checker. You can find this NPC standing next to a Marill in the main plaza of Cascarrafa.
