A Beginner's Guide to PowerWash Simulator

Use the Dirt Indicator

The Dirt Indicator is your number one best friend and go-to tool, aside from the sprayer. While everything is usually coated in a thick layer of dirt, once that's removed and there's still a small percentage of dirt left, it can be tricky to find. The Dirt Indicator will show even the tiniest specks of filth that have yet to be removed. By default, it is bound to TAB (PC) and Right on the D-Pad (consoles).

Use the Tablet to locate the remaining dirt

Aside from the Dirt Indicator, players can use the tablet to find specific parts that still need cleaning. This is useful for those of us lacking extensive knowledge of ship and airplane parts. Selecting the description in the tablet will actually highlight the part in real-time and make it a breeze to find.

Bring a friend

Some of the levels within PowerWash Simulator, especially those within the later stages of the Career Mode, are absolutely gigantic. Career Mode allows for a total of two players to clean together. Unfortunately, there isn't a robust matchmaking system. Players will need to make use of platforms like the subreddit, Xbox LFG, and the official Discord to find players.

Use the cleaning liquids

Some levels will have a material that is predominant. Stock up on the corresponding cleaning material to make quick work of the grime on those surfaces before going back to your trusty 15-degree nozzle to finish off the rest. At $10 a piece, there's no reason not to use them.

Invest in upgrades as quickly as possible

As the Career Mode moves on into later stages, the grime will become thicker and tougher to remove. We highly recommend investing in the upgraded power washers and their attachments as quickly as possible to make cleaning go quicker. Failure to do so will result in a lot of wasted time.
