Should you deliver Sorsley’s illegal salt in Chapter 9? – Triangle Strategy Voting Guide

Nobody wants to be an accomplice.

It may not be obvious at first, but choices do matter in Triangle Strategy. It affects three things: the ending that you will get, the people who will fight with you, and battles that lie ahead. Chapter Nine is a good example. Should you deal in illicit salt trade in exchange for Hyzante’s trust?

The answer is yes. While there is evidence of Sorsley’s misdeeds anyway, you need to travel to Aesfrost to meet an important person. The choice you make in the succeeding chapter will also determine whether you can pursue the game’s true ending or not.

Of course, you already know what potential consequences such a choice can invoke, but Serenoa needs to be brave enough to face the consequences. Always. In fact, this is your biggest hint in choosing the correct paths throughout the game. But if you need a spoiler-free guide to help you pursue the true ending, you can take a look at How to get the Golden Route in Triangle Strategy – Endings Guide.

For this battle, bandits will block your path on your way to Aesfrost. In what will very likely be the most annoying map to navigate, make sure fliers like Hughette and Flanagan are ready for battle. You can also use Jens to create paths for your units to use. Provoke skills are also essential, since the attack will be two-pronged.
