All Slayers 2 Trainer and NPC Locations

The strongest enemy in Slayers 2 isn’t a demon; it’s the NPC hiding behind a tree on the other side of the map.

Updated September 19, 2026: Added Muzan’s nighttime search areas, the −40 reputation requirement, Kona’s Book of Guidance quest, and more progression NPCs. Missing costs and exact positions remain TBA; I’ll fill those in as I work through the remaining routes.

Finding the right trainer in Slayers 2 can be harder than defeating whatever is waiting at the end of their quest. This Slayers 2 trainer and NPC location guide covers all eight Breathing trainers, Muzan, early leveling NPCs, useful merchants, and the Final Selection quest chain. Check the locations and requirements below before setting off. Walking across the map twice because you forgot five Beast Cores is not a training method I recommend.

All Trainer Locations in Slayers 2

Breathing Styles unlock through trainer questlines, starting at level 25. Find your chosen trainer, check their resource requirements, then complete their training. Blood Demon Arts follow a different acquisition route, covered below.

All Breathing Trainer Locations in Slayers 2

Use the table to find your trainer’s area, then check the nearby landmarks. Unlock Wall Climb and Double Jump before heading out, especially for the mountain routes. A trainer and a trainee are different NPCs: one starts your training, while the other is a combat encounter. Make sure you are talking to the right person before wondering why your quest will not progress.

Trainer & Breathing StyleLocation & Requirements
Trainer NPC: Rengu
Breathing: Flame Breathing
Location: House by the long red bridge on the route out of Mistfall Village. Exact position inside/on the house: TBA.
Requirements: Level 25; 10 Demon Horns.
Trainer NPC: Shinora
Breathing: Insect Breathing
Location: Butterfly Estate (also called Butterfly Mansion). Approach from Mistfall Harbor. Exact trainer position within the estate: TBA.
Requirements: Level 25; materials/cost: TBA.
Trainer NPC: Gyorei
Breathing: Stone Breathing
Location: Take the lower route from the bear area, toward the Stone training area. Stay on the lower path instead of taking the mountain climb toward Thunder.
Requirements: Level 25; Axe and Mace required for the style; materials/cost: TBA.
Trainer NPC: Zentaro
Breathing: Thunder Breathing
Location: Mountain route beyond the bear area. Continue past the nearby boss area, then climb the uphill section toward the trainer. Wall Climb is needed.
Requirements: Level 25; Climbing for access; materials/cost: TBA.
Trainer NPC: Urokodaki
Breathing: Water Breathing
Location: Hidden passage near Bamboo Grove and the small island house. Look below the cliff for the house, find the water-filled opening nearby, and swim through to the trainer. Keep moving so you do not drown.
Requirements: Level 25; 5,000 Wen; 30 Demon Horns.
Trainer NPC: Saneri
Breathing: Wind Breathing
Location: Snowy biome, approached from the bear area. He is standing on a platform in the middle of the water.
Requirements: Level 25; 50 Demon Horns.
Trainer NPC: Tengai
Breathing: Sound Breathing
Location: Iceveil Valley, in the snowy region. Exact ledge and final approach: TBA.
Requirements: Level 25; Wall Climb for access; materials/cost: TBA.
Trainer NPC: Obari
Breathing: Serpent Breathing
Location: Cliff north of Windy Peak, the starting village. Climb above the settlement and look around the top for Obari.
Requirements: Level 25; 20 Demon Horns; 5 Beast Cores.

For Flame and Insect, the areas are clear, but the exact roof/ground-level directions still need a closer check. Those final positions are TBA for now. Also, a material amount in this table is not necessarily the entire training bill: check your trainer’s dialogue before spending your Wen.

Bring the resources for your chosen style, then follow its training objectives. Reaching the trainer does not unlock the moveset by itself. For help choosing, see our Slayers 2 Breathing Styles tier list.

Blood Demon Art NPCs and How to Obtain Arts

Muzan starts your Demon progression at −40 reputation, and you need to look for him at night. He moves around, so search the surrounding paths as well as the initial spawn area. Once you transform, Evil Art rolls and their obtainment quests handle your Blood Demon Art unlocks.

Task: Capture and deliver him. Keep moving past the pursuing enemies.
Evil Art acquisitionProcess: Roll an Art after becoming a Demon, then use its item to start its obtainment quest.
Roll NPC/menu, cost, and individual quest locations: TBA.
Blood Manipulation / Blood SickleWeapon: Sickles.
Weapon farming lead: Boss in the cave below the bear area.
Boss name, drop chance, and full Art quest route: TBA.

For Muzan, check the ramps around Ginzo in Mistfall Harbor, the Clothing Shop/Tengai boss area in Iceveil Valley, and the lowest wooden paths beneath the fog in Hidden Mist Village. These are search areas, not guaranteed spawn points. See our Demon progression guide for map images and the full quest.

The launch Art roster is Arrow, Dream Manipulation, Ice Manipulation, Reaper, Shockwave, Tamari, Blood Manipulation, Obi Manipulation, and Explosive Blood. Check our Slayers 2 Blood Demon Arts tier list before spending your rolls. Art-specific quest directions are coming soon.

Final Selection NPC Locations

Final Selection requires at least level 45. To reach it, head to Mistfall Harbor and cross toward the Butterfly Estate. Take the long bridge south to the Final Selection Plains, then follow the path northeast to Final Selection. Use map markers along the way. Inside the trial, follow the quest sequence below. Exact coordinates are TBA; use each active objective to find the next character. Rika is a supply stop for Klien’s objective, rather than the next main quest giver.

How to Find Your Next Quest NPC

Talk to Kona in Windy Peak and finish Recover the Lost Pages. All five pages are inside the starting village. Return them to Kona for the Book of Guidance, which points you toward your next recommended quest and NPC. This is the first errand I would finish before heading off to explore. Slayers 2 is confusing enough without voluntarily throwing away your directions.

If you are missing a page, our Slayers 2 Lost Pages locations guide has screenshots of all five spots. Collecting the pages is only half the job: remember to return to Kona for the reward.

What to Do if an NPC Is Missing in Slayers 2

First, check the location’s height: a trainer may be above a cliff or beyond an underwater passage. Then check your active objective, level, and previous quest turn-in. For Muzan, wait until night and search along his route. For Final Selection, check the entrance’s opening status. If the area has not loaded properly, try rejoining.

If every NPC is missing on a private server, ask the owner or a moderator to check the PvE setting. /pve off removes NPCs, while /pve on enables them again. Our Slayers 2 private server commands guide explains the controls. Sometimes the missing trainer is a server setting, not another secret cave.
