DOORS releases limited-edition Screech plush, extends purchase date – Roblox

Following the success of The Mimic and Apeirophobia, another horror/survival-style experience has joined the Roblox platform—DOORS. Since its debut in August 2022, DOORS has taken the Roblox platform by storm, becoming the second fastest experience ever to acquire over one billion visits, doing so in just three months of being active. In this experience, players must maneuver throughout, and ultimately escape, a haunted hotel by sneaking, sprinting, solving puzzles, and, most importantly, evading monsters. One of these monsters, Screech, has become so popular in the DOORS fandom that it received its own limited-edition plush.

Oringally teased via a cryptic tweet from the official DOORS Twitter account on December 16, 2022, the Screech plush was completely user funded on Makeship and reached its target monetary goal in only 22 minutes—20 days before the campaign was set to end. Screech was then put on sale and could be preordered from December 23, 2022, to January 13, 2023.

On January 12, 2023, however, just one day before the campaign was set to close forever, DOORS tweeted that availability had been extended two more weeks, now ending on January 29, 2023. Due to the massive success of Screech's campaign, the company also tweeted about the possibly of another plush coming soon, asking their fans which entity they'd prefer to see as a plush—Seek or Figure.

It's unknown when exactly this next plush will debut, but, considering the support that Screech received, it's likely to come soon.
