The Roblox x Tommy Hilfiger collab is here! Following in the steps of another Metaverse visitor, Clarks, clothing brand Tommy Hilfiger has teamed up with Roblox to release their BMX-themed experience, Tommy Play. Players hoping to earn a few free items inside of this experience are in luck, so hop on your bike and let's get started!
How to unlock all free items in Tommy Play
Currently obtainable items

- TJ Wearable BMX Backpack
- Unlocked after completing the experience's tutorial
- TJ Sport Cap (Text Logo White)
- Unlocked by being airborne for at least six seconds

- Unlocked by jumping higher than 300 studs

- Unlocked by failing a stunt combo that's worth at least 10,000 points

- Unlocked after winning a stunt competition with a custom color equipped onto your bike

- Unlocked by watching the Tommy Hilfiger in-game fashion show
- Tommy Knit Beanie
- Unlocked by winning each minigame while competing against at least two other players

TJ Donut Headphones and Pretzel Friend Sitting
The TJ Donut Headphones and Pretzel Friend Sitting can both be earned by simply joining the Tommy Play experience! Yep, that's it!
TJ Wearable BMX Backpack
The TJ Wearable BMX Backpack can be earned by completing the experience's quick tutorial. To complete the tutorial, simply join Tommy Play and approach the NPC pictured below.
Upon speaking to this NPC, TJ, you'll be asked to equip your in-game bike. To do this, press Q and select the bike from the menu that appears.
After doing so, you will earn the Introduction badge and the TJ Wearable BMX Backpack item!

TJ Sport Cap (Text Logo White)
To earn the TJ Sport Cap (Text Logo White), players need to accumulate at least six seconds of airtime on their BMX bike. To do this quickly, we recommend keeping an eye out for any of the cloud rings pictured below. Going up ramps and jumping into these cloud rings will blast your Robloxian into the sky. If you see multiple cloud rings stacked in front of one another, be sure to ride through them! The extra boosts, along with pressing the spacebar, will send you flying.
TJ Sport Cap (Text Logo Blue)
To earn the TJ Sport Cap (Text Logo Blue), players must ride their bike faster than 100 studs per second in a single go. To do this, we'd recommend looking for a wide open road, collecting power ups, and using them to boost yourself forward. This task may sound challenging, but it shouldn't take too many tries to complete.
TJ Colorblock Hoodie (Blue)
Similar to both of the TJ Sport Caps, the best way to unlock the TJ Colorblock Hoodie (Blue) item is to use the in-game boosts to your advantage. Using these boosts, along with ramps and other map features, should make this challenge far easier to complete.
TJ Colorblock Hoodie (Pink)
After joining two races or two stunt competitions, you should receive the TJ Colorblock Hoodie (Pink)—it's as easy as that!
TJ Colorblock Sweatpants (Blue / Yellow) and (Blue/Pink)
Both the TJ Colorblock Sweatpants (Blue / Yellow) and (Blue/Pink) are earned by failing tricks, rather than completing them. To do this, use as many boosts and power ups as you can to send your character flying!
TJ Giant Hotdog Backpack
Before you can earn the TJ Giant Hotdog Backpack, you'll need to find and unlock a secret door! To do this, hop on your bike and head toward the large bridge pictured below.
Ride across the entirety of this bridge but be careful as you approach the end—you'll need to drop down onto a small platform hidden below the edge.
On this platform should be a door guarded by a small chicken. In order to unlock this door, you'll need to complete a Bar Spin trick in midair. To do this, press the spacebar and the 1 key at the same time.
Once you've completed this task, the door should automatically open, allowing you to enter the secret room and earn the TJ Giant Hotdog Backpack item and badge!
Entering the room isn't necessary as there's nothing collectable inside, but you're more than welcome to do so anyway.
TJ Giant Burger
Similar to the TJ Giant Hotdog Backpack, the TJ Giant Burger can only be obtained by those who find the secret room where the item is located. In order to enter the secret room, you'll need to have the TJ Giant Hotdog Backpack equipped to your avatar, so be sure to do that before entering the experience!
With the hotdog backpack equipped, spawn into Tommy Play, select the Bronx level, and look for the store pictured below.
Enter this store and approach its water feature in the middle.
To enter the secret room, jump into the water and swim downward. After a few seconds, you should fall into the secret Hotdog Room and earn the TJ Giant Burger item and badge!
TJ Pride Foam Hand
The TJ Pride Foam Hand is one of the easiest items to unlock in all of Tommy Play—in order to obtain it, all that you need to do is find it! To do this, spawn into the Bronx level and look for the noob statue pictured below—it should have a rainbow aura around it.
To reach this statue, walk onto the blue platform near spawn and then jump down onto the train tracks below.
Once on the train tracks, climb onto the waiting area's awning and turn yourself so that you're facing the nearby clouds.
Now, jump from the awning onto the clouds and then climb the clouds until you reach the building pictured below.
On this building is a small air vent that's outputting red light—jump onto this vent to get boosted to the roof above.
You should now be directly across from the building with the noob statue—use the cloud in front of you to reach this building. Once on the building, approach the noob statue and collect the TJ Pride Foam Hand by walking into it!
Frosty Flair and Floor Rock Freeze
While the Frosty Flair and Floor Rock Freeze emotes can be purchased with Robux, they can also be unlocked for free by those willing to complete a short quest! To start this quest, look for the yellow icon on you screen that's labeled Quest and follow it. You should end up at the location pictured below.
To start this quest, speak to the break dancing skeleton. Upon doing so, you will be given the Pretzel Run quest and asked to collect two large pretzels. To find the first pretzel, we'd recommend resetting your character and starting from the spawn point. Once you've been reset, hop down onto the train tracks and follow them until you reach the point pictured below—you should be able to see a pretzel in the distance!
As you continue forward on the train tracks, you should eventually reach a point that requires you to complete a small obby. Take your time as you maneuver across the broken bridge, you will have to start from the beginning if you fall!
Once you've successfully crossed the obby, approach the pretzel and press E to collect it! Then, with the first pretzel collected, return to the skeleton NPC to begin the next part of the quest.
To find the next pretzel, reset your character once more to return to spawn. Then, make your way toward the same train station awning that we went to for the pride item and begin climbing the nearby clouds once more.
This time, however, instead of climbing the first building and going toward the noob statue, we're going to turn and continue following the clouds to the second building.
From this building, you should be able to see a path made up of clouds and various random items—continue following this path to reach the entrance to the Tommy Museum.
To enter the museum, walk through the small doorway pictured below. Directly inside of this doorway should be the second large pretzel!
To collect this pretzel, just like the first one, approach it and press E. Doing so will complete the Pretzel Run quest and award you with the two corresponding avatar emotes!
Golden Tommy Hotdog
The Golden Tommy Hotdog can be earned by any player who falls 100,000 meters in the experience's FREEFALL minigame. To play this minigame, simply spawn into Tommy Play, choose the Manhattan borough, and look for the portal pictured below.
Once inside of this minigame, be prepared to get frustrated. Of all of the glitchy minigames inside of Tommy Play, this one might be the worst. Upon loading in, your camera will likely spin around, glitch left and right, and possibly not even focus by the time the minigame starts. Unfortunately, the controls for this minigame don't perform any better. If you're able to successfully maneuver throughout this minigame and survive for 100,000 meters, major props to you! As soon as you cross this distance, you should automatically receive the Golden Tommy Hotdog badge and item.
Flower Crown
The Flower Crown item, which was released to celebrate the Mexican holiday DÃa De Los Muertos, can be obtained by flying through 10 rings that are scattered throughout Tommy Play's Manhattan map. Each time that you fly through one of these rings, the next one will appear.
After flying through all 10 rings, you will earn the Flower Crown accessory.
TJ Chicago Cropped Windbreaker
The TJ Chicago Cropped Windbreaker can only be earned by those who rank in the top three on either of the in-game minigame leaderboards—Races Won or Races Completed. On top of that, you must also rank on this leaderboard in a server that has over 11 players inside of it. If you rank top three but the entire leaderboard isn't full, it won't count!
TJ Pop Hoodie (Green / Blue)
The TJ Pop Hoodie (Green / Blue) can be earned by those who complete four different tricks during a single stunt competition. To purchase more tricks, open the experience's shop menu and select the tricks graphic. Each tricks costs 100 Coins.
TJ Pop Hoodie (Blue / Yellow)
The TJ Pop Hoodie (Blue / Yellow) can be earned by those who successfully complete a combo worth at least 5,000 points in a single stunt competition. To do this quickly, try double jumping and doing two tricks at once!
TJ Pop Stripe Rugby (Pink / Green)
To earn the TJ Pop Stripe Rugby (Pink / Green) shirt, players will need to first purchase and equip a custom color to their bike, and then participate and win a stunt competition with this color equipped. Custom colors can be purchased from the Shop by clicking on the bike icon.
TJ Pop Stripe Rugby (Pink / Blue)
The TJ Pop Stripe Rugby (Pink / Blue) shirt can be earned by winning a BMX race with a custom color equipped to your bike.
Tommy Hilfiger Balloon
Originally, this item was only available on September 11, 2022. Now, however, the Tommy Hilfiger Balloon is awarded to players who watch a replay of the in-game Tommy Hilfiger fashion show, regardless of when they do it.
Tommy Knit Beanie
To unlock the Tommy Knit Beanie, you must play and win each Tommy Plays minigame (Freeze Tag, BMX Race, and Stunt Competition) at least one time. It's also a requirement that at least two other players are in the minigame with you when you win, otherwise it won't count toward the badge/item. I'd suggest recruiting a couple friends to help you out!
Other clothing
Along with the free items mentioned above, there's also a handful of other clothing pieces that can be obtained for free inside of Tommy Play.
These clothes, some layered and some 2D, can either be purchased with Robux from Roblox's Avatar Shop, or with in-game money from the Tommy Play Shop. The prices of all of these clothes can be found in the list below.
