Cecil is a character in Rune Factory 5 that you will meet at the start of the game and the self-appointed town detective. Cecil is always hungry for a mystery, no matter how small it may seem to others. His older brother is Martin, and the two siblings couldn't be any more different in their personalities.
How to increase Cecil's hearts
In the early morning, Cecil can usually be found at his home, marked Martins and Cecil's House on the map. Speaking with him each day and providing him with a gift will help raise your Friendship level. You will also want to give him a gift for extra points on his birthday, Spring 12.

- Crystal Skull
Disliked Items:
- Cheese
- Yogurt
- Milk
You can win Cecil over with fruit much like his brother Martin, simply keep a stock of fruit on hand or growing, and you will be dating Cecil in no time. Once you are at heart level, 7 use the BTW Menu to confess to Cecil. You can date multiple characters at the same time but only marry one.
The marriage option will become available once you have completed the following tasks:
- Completed the three normal Cecil's events, a pink icon will appear on their map icon notifying you of each event.
- Completed Cecil's final story event.
- Met everyone in town.
- Have unlocked and made an engagement ring.
- Have him at ten hearts.
- Have a double bed.
Once you have met all of these requirements, you will be able to propose to and marry Cecil.
