How to beat the Frozen Door quest in Old School RuneScape

After completing the Desert Treasure quest, Old School RuneScape players receive The Important Letter from a messenger. After it is destroyed, it cannot be re-obtained by a messenger. The Frozen Door mini-quest begins when you read the letter.

The God Wars Dungeon is North of the Trollheim Teleport but before the Ice Plateau.

Stats Required

70 Agility

70 Hitpoints

70 Ranged

70 Strength

You'll need these stats but because of the enemies you will meet along the way and the agility tests.

God Wars Dungeon does not offer great difficulty, but players must gather four key pieces to complete it. For their key pieces, they simply need to defeat the generals inside. Each of the four paths from the center will lead to a different general on the God Wars Dungeon map.

The Four Generals

The player needs to beat four separate generals:

• Kree'arra - one key piece
• General Graardor - one key piece
• Commander Zilyana - one key piece
• K'ril Tsutsaroth - one key piece

Bodyguards have a 5% chance of obtaining the key piece, but generals are guaranteed to have it. As soon as you have acquired all four pieces, you will be able to assemble them into the frozen key.

The frozen door at the southern side of the main hall can be opened with the frozen key. Ashuelot Reis, a nature spirit, will greet them inside and reveal that there is no treasure inside, but instead, a powerful Zarosian general named Nex and her army. The player is told about Nex's history by Asuelot before he disappears into the prison's inner lobby.

After that, the mini-quest is over.
