Saints Row delayed, now releasing August 2022

Now coming Fall 2022.

Deep Silver and Volition have been working on the widely anticipated reboot of the popular Saints Row franchise. With almost a decade since Saints Row IV, the drought of the action-adventure franchise will end in 2022, but players will have to wait a bit longer than intended.

On Nov. 17, 2021, the Chief Creative Officer of Volition, Jim Boone, announced that the Saints Row reboot will no longer release on Feb. 25, 2022. Instead, the game will debut on Aug. 23, 2022.

Jim Boone stated that the original date would counteract their creative vision to reach the standards that the team set for itself. Deep Silver and Volition want to make sure the game is as polished and tuned as possible when the game does launch in the Fall 2022 window.
