All Artifact Locations in Sea of Stars

Fill up the Lore Grimoire by finding these artifacts!

The Traveling Historian, Teaks, needs your help in tracking down her lost artifacts and, in exchange, will tell you some pretty exciting campfire stories. These artifacts are spread all around the world of Sea of Stars and can be found in even the most obscure of locations, much like all the relics. But don't worry; we can help you find all the locations of these artifacts so you can return them safely to Teaks and hear her tales.

Where to find all the Artifacts in Sea of Stars

Once you enter the Moorlands, you'll soon come upon Teaks, observing the runestones there. She will ask you to help her expand her magical book by finding lost artifacts. Each artifact is connected to a special story that Teaks can read to you during a campfire. However, these artifacts can be spread all around the different islands and locations, so you'll need to keep your eyes peeled.

Once you find an artifact, head back to Teaks at any time to turn it in. Here is where you can find them all:

Ancient Molekin Cloak

This artifact is within one of the Molekin's houses at Stonemasons Outpost, just below and to the left of the main staircase leading to the mines. Once you head inside, you'll find the Ancient Molekin Cloak in the chest in the right corner.

Romaya's Hair Pin

As you're following the story, you'll have to delve into the Necromancer's Lair within the Flooded Graveyard to acquire a Soul Stone. Conveniently enough, the Necromaner's Lair also holds the artifact of Romaya's Hair Pin. As soon as you enter the lair, you'll spot the chest at the entrance, slightly hidden behind a worn pillar. This artifact will unlock The Three Sisters story from Teaks.

Celestial Willow Leaf

You can find this artifact by returning to Evermist Island after establishing the Town of Mirth and heading back to the town of Mooncradle. Toward the eastern side of the town, you'll see a large Willow tree branching out from the side, and toward the top of the part of the branches, you'll see a chest slightly concealed behind. Inside the chest, you'll find the Celestial Willow Leaf artifact, which can earn you the story of Mooncradle & The Elder Mist from Teaks.

Stone Tablet Piece

This artifact is a little bit different than the others because you won't find it in a chest. Instead, as you traverse through the Jungle Path on Watcher Island, look for the large waterfall. You can climb down and walk along the ledge and behind the waterfall to a secret cave room. Use your Graplou to jump the gap and then interact with the stone mural. You will automatically receive the Stone Tablet Piece, which you can turn in to Teaks for the Vampire Rose story.

Old Coral Vase

Once you get to the Docarri Village on Watcher Island, you'll want to head to the Item Shop on the northwest side of the village. Inside, you can climb up the wall in the top left corner and enter the tidepool in the water. Skip the first portal you see, and instead, swim up to the top left corner and enter that portal. In this secret room, you'll find the chest with the Old Coral Vase. This artifact will earn you the Nomads of the Seas story from Teaks.

Cog Prototype

Once you continue further into the story and make it to the Clockwork Castle on Mesa Island, you can find this artifact by climbing off to the bottom right side of the castle exterior after reaching the courtyard. You'll find the chest on a cliff edge after climbing down the stone wall. The Cog Prototype will earn you the story The Clockwork Castle from Teaks.

Cloudy Shard

This artifact is found in the Cloud Kingdom. Traverse your way through, passing the large figure's feet, who will graciously move out of your way as you pass, and you'll find a chest just below the council chamber and Puntie in the bottom left corner. The Cloudy Shard artifact, when handed in to Teaks, will give you the Khukharr the Unyielding story.

Broken Handle

The Broken Handle artifact can be found in Serai's World, within a chest just inside the Es'tristae's Lookout, branching off to the left. You'll come across it right after fighting off the Bird Cultists. Turning it in to Teaks will earn you the Es'tristae story.

Aventry Crest

This artifact can be located on the southwestern side of the Flooded Graveyard on Wraith Island, locked away in the coffin chest within the tomb. However, to get it, you'll first need to help Duke Aventry remember and receive the key to the coffin. Inside, you'll find the Aventry Crest artifact, which will earn you the Paradise Lost story from Teaks.

Joce's Belt Buckle

We found this map by traveling to Serai's World map and speaking to the hooded figure in the tavern. They will give you brief but precise navigational directions to find a secret oasis in the Cerulean Expanse. In this oasis, set up camp for the night and speak to Serai to receive Joce's Belt Buckle. This artifact will earn you the The Cerulean Expedition story from Teaks.

However, we do think the event may trigger in any camp as long as you've defeated the Dweller who lives on the moon. It's just that this was how we discovered it!

This should be all the artifacts you can find throughout the map as you play! Don't forget to start a campsite every once in a while to hand them to Teaks. The more artifacts you hand into Teaks, the more intriguing stories she'll be able to tell you about the world.
