How to Fast Travel in Sherlock Holmes Chapter One

How to get from a-to-b in Cordona.

Frogwares has been developing Sherlock Holmes games for quite a long time—since 2002. While past titles focused solely on puzzles and detective work, their newest effort, Sherlock Holmes Chapter One, is its first foray into an open-world Holmes game. With this type of game, you'll find all the staples you've come to expect—a large explorable map, dozens of side quests, and of course, a fast travel option.

The game won't explicitly teach you about its fast travel mechanic, but keep your eyes peeled for Yellow Compass notifications when exploring Cordona—these will unlock fast travel points on your world map.

Fast travel points will consist of important locations and smaller spots where you'll find drivers. Anytime you pass a driver (noted by Yellow Compass markers on your compass), it will unlock a fast travel point. You can speak to drivers to initiate fast travel, or you can move your cursor over a fast travel point on your map to use it.

Hey there! I'm Nick. I've been a gamer since I was a tiny lad sitting about three feet from my SNES playing Mega Man X and Zelda (A Link to the Past). I dip my toes into most genres but always find my way back to open-world RPGs and story-driven single-player titles. I love to write and consider myself lucky to spend my days working on content I truly enjoy.
