How to cure poison in Spelunky 2

Spelunky 2 can be a rough game for beginners to the series. If you have a lot of experience with the first one, then you are likely pretty familiar with a lot of the craziness that you will expansion due to the random natural of the game. However, if you are new or not, you are likely not going to be pleased when you find your character inflicted by poison. How to Cure Poison

To cure poison in Spelunky 2, you will need to bring the animal in the level and yourself to the exit as quickly as possible. Every 30 seconds you are poisoned will drain a heart away from you. This is incredibly dangerous in a game like this one, so make sure to find the pug, cat, or whatever and bring it through the door with you. Once you go through that door, your poison will be cured!

Getting poisoned is something that you will need to be aware of when you are heading into the later levels of the game. The larger enemies that look like crab people are the ones that will do it to you. They breathe out green bubbles, and if you get touched by one you will be poisoned. Make sure to immediately start looking around for an exit, because you don't want to end your run because of it! You can tell you are poisoned if you look at your heart total and you see some green slime on it.

Spelunky 2 can be a pretty punishing game, so make sure to take your time whenever you are heading into the unknown.
