The Nintendo UK Twitter account confirmed on May 2, 2022 that all of the basic type weapons from previous Splatoon games will be present in the upcoming third installment. While various followers found this to be an expected detail of Splatoon 3, others were excited. Some gamers who closely follow the franchise were quick to point out that this news, while welcome, is a bit underwhelming.
