Not long into the Star Ocean: The Divine Force story, you'll get DUMA. An AI robot can attach itself to the back of a playable character and make them fly into the air to reach higher places. It's an excellent traversal mechanic. However, since the partial flight is in the game, many players will be wondering if you can fly higher with DUMA in Star Ocean: The Divine Force.
Can you increase the height of VA's flight in Star Ocean Divine Force?
Yes, you can fly higher with VA using DUMA in Star Ocean: The Divine Force, but not until a way into the story. You don't get this ability until you get your sixth party member—or seventh if you include Raymond/Laeticia. The height or flight distance is not. Instead, you can get charge VA again in midair, allowing you to fly higher—two consecutively VAs in a row.

You are still limited by a 45-degree angle on takeoff, so jumping then using VA is required to get even higher. But having a second is genuinely truly amazing, considering trying to get to any out-of-reach place with one VA, though possible, was a massive pain to do.
Now, if you wanted to, you could sprint back through all regions and locations and scour the place for more chests like one in Baldaar that you couldn't reach. Or maybe even hidden places. Having a second VA flight increases the speed of this already fast-paced game.
