Temtem How to Make Money Fast (Pansun)

We're taking a look at one of the best current money making options in Temtem! You can do your standard selling of items and battling trainers, but there's also another way to go that is a lot more effective. If you're looking to farm up cash for gear, cosmetics, or general items then you'll want to take advantage of this easy to do strategy.

How to Make Money in Temtem

So, what do you need to do to make some fat stacks of money? Well, you need to release the Temtem you catch. Yep, you read that correctly... releasing Temtem is a good way to earn some cash. However, you should only do this once you've reached the second island in the game! Releasing Temtem prior to reaching this specific area will yield you nothing. That area is the FreeTem! Organization building. It can be found on the island of Omninesia in The Canopath (Route 5).

Once you reach this building, you can go inside and talk to the person at the desk. This person will give you money for each Temtem you release rather than send to your computer, because the FreeTem! Organization believes all Temtem should be free. How the payout works is that you will be given more money for Temtem you release that are either higher level or harder to catch. So, you might want to wait until you get pretty far into the story before you start really grinding this out.

It appears there will be a weekly prize you can earn for releasing a certain amount of Temtem. Some of these prizes are DNA Strands, which can be used to ensure the Temtem you're breeding inherits a specific stats or traits. You can also earn a cosmetic, or you can earn Silicon Shards which you can sell for 299 Pansun each. Here's a look at some of the rewards that have been available:

  • Free 180 Temtem: Flat Top Hair Cosmetic
  • Free 200 Temtem: 5x Silcon Shards
  • Free 200 Temtem: Vigor DNA Strand - Ensures the egg inherits the parent's HP and STA.
  • Free 215 Temtem: Engineered DNA Strand - Ensures the egg inherits the parent's trait slot.
  • Free 250 Temtem: Mighty DNA Strand - Ensures the egg inherits the parent's ATK and SPATK.
  • Free 250 Temtem: Immunity DNA Strand - Ensures the egg inherits the parent's DEF and SPDEF.

Releasing 200+ Temtem in a week is quite a few, so it might be easier to just go catching lower level Temtem. This might also be a good time to try for a particular Luma Temtem! As far as we know, this is the best method to earning money in the game. We'll update this guide with additional methods as they are revealed.

  1. The gold value of the Temtem released is dependent on their level. You want to release higher level Temtem. For example. I released 80 lvl 10ish Ganki and received roughly 4,000 pansun. I released 80 level 40 Temtem and received over 8,000. Given that it takes roughly the same amount of time once you learn their weakness it’s much more beneficial to capture/release higher levels. Rather than chase Luma, you should chase after perfect 50 stat Temtem then breed a Temtem with all stats max.
