In Tiny Tina's first DLC, the Coiled Captors, players take on an Elder God in the depths of a new dungeon. While the central premise for the Coiled Captors is an exciting one, many players enjoy taking on new side missions with silly narratives throughout their expansion experience.
Unfortunately, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Coiled Captors expansion offers zero side-missions. The only new activity included in the Coiled Captors expansion is the new dungeon featuring Chums, a boss with four unique forms that alternate each week. The story in Coiled Captors is also lacking, with Vesper offering cryptic background information on the Coiled Captors boss before players defeat him.

While there are no new side missions in the Coiled Captors expansion, there is a new currency via Souls, which players can use to spin the Wheel of Fate in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. Players can also climb to the new maximum Chaos Level of 35.
Coiled Captors is the sparsest offering for a paid DLC in Borderlands history. The Headhunter Packs from Borderlands 2 give players unique holiday-themed bosses with several side missions for only $5 and a narrative to characterize them, for comparison.
