Torchlight Infinite is the next installment in the Torchlight series and is being developed by XD Inc. This entry deviates from previous Torchlight games and will be free to play and multiplatform. This may have some fans wondering if Torchlight Infinite will be crossplay/cross platform.
The answer is yes—Torchlight Infinite will be crossplay/cross platform. It will also feature cross save so that players can continue from where they left off regardless of platform. So far, iOS and Android have been the online confirmed platforms but XD Inc. has said it will launch on multiple platforms.
Torchlight Infinite aims to offer infinite replayability through randomly generated dungeons, loot, skill trees, and talents. If it succeeds, Torchlight fans will get to enjoy one of their favorite series for quite some time.
