The addition of the Artificial Island in Tower of Fantasy has players hyped with new features like the Home System and the prospect of fighting a new world boss. The Interdimensional Frostfire Dragon is a mechanical dragon that can fly and shoot devastating projectiles to take you out of the battle with relative ease. However, finding this fantastical creature is almost as hard as defeating it. In this guide, we'll tell you how to find the Interdimensional Frostfire Dragon and defeat it in Tower of Fantasy.
How to find the Interdimensional Frostfire Dragon in Tower of Fantasy
You can find the Interdimensional Frostfire Dragon atop the floating platforms of Eyrie on the Artificial Island. However, these platforms are so high up that you can only access them through hidden portals that players can find. To reach the Interdimensional Frostfire Dragon, players need to find a red triangular portal near the Rusty Iron Camp Spacerift.

Near the Rusty Iron Camp Spacerift, you will find large skeletal remains of what appears to be an ancient dragon. The red portal can be found suspended in the air, right in the middle of the bones. To interact with it, simply climb up the nearby cliff and use your jetpack to glide toward it. Upon touching it, you will be teleported to the Eyrie Spacerift platform. Before beginning the battle, activate the Eyrie Spacerift to make future traversal to the location easier.
How to defeat the Interdimensional Frostfire Dragon in Tower of Fantasy
The Interdimensional Frostfire Dragon is a world boss. Therefore, it is highly advisable only to take on the challenge of defeating it with a team of at least four to six players. Like a dragon, this boss will take to the skies as it launches devastating AOE attacks and homing missiles while allowing very little time to strike back. To defeat it, we must learn its attack patterns and combos. The following are the attacks of the Interdimensional Frostfire Dragon and how to counter them:
- Missile AOE: When the dragon flies up and starts hovering, that's your cue to start running. While hovering, the dragon will release a missile in a target area marked by red. Upon impact, it deals damage in a large area, and staggers any player who gets hit.
- Tail Swipe: The dragon spins quickly, whipping its tail at players and dealing heavy damage. The dragon then follows it up with a quick barrage of missiles that land in its surrounding area, dealing AOE damage where they land. The ideal way to dodge this move is by running away and keeping a safe distance.
- Homing Missiles: The homing missiles are the Interdimensional Frostfire Dragon's special move. If players fail to break its shield quickly, the dragon launches a flurry of missiles that seek out a target and move towards them. Any hit from a single missile will stun the target, allowing the following missiles to hit them in quick succession. Players can use Relics like the Omnium Hand Cannon, or the Omnium Shield to deploy cover from the missiles. Otherwise, simply dodge the missiles using a combo of jumps and dashes.
Once the end of the homing missile, the dragon will fall to the ground for a brief period of time. While it is grounded, players need to unleash their discharge skills and get close to the dragon to deal melee damage.
