While at the main menu, you will be able to use an option called invite towards the bottom of your screen. Using this option will allow you to play together through either the matching making or create a world option.

That said, once your friend joins your game, you will be able to link up and gather resources and tackle monsters together and help defend your town from giants and other strange creatures.

Overall, we highly recommend playing with friends as well as tackling some of the end game giants will require multiple people, and in general, playing friends is always excellent!
