To make a cartography table in Valheim, you will need the following materials listed below

  • 10 Fine wood
  • 10 Bone fragments
  • two Bronze
  • five Leather scraps
  • four Raspberry

With the materials listed above, you will also need a hammer so you can place and build the cartography table when you get the required resources.

That said, starting with fine wood, you can get fine wood in Valheim from birch and oak trees in the meadows biome by chopping them down with at least a bronze axe or higher.

To get bone fragments, you will need to find and kill skeleton enemies that spawn near burial chambers and in the swamp biome. Now for Bronze and leather scraps, you will need to craft bronze from copper and tine bars ore deposits, and for leather scraps, you will need to hunt and kill boars.

If you don't know how to get either copper bars or tin, you can do so by mining copper and tin from the Black forest biome and turning both into bars via smelter. Afterward, take both the tin and copper to a forge and you can make the bronze bars you need in Valheim.

Then for the last material, called Raspberries, you can find and harvest them from bushes in the Meadows biome. Once you have all the materials, head back to your base and get your hammer out.

You can use the hammer to make a cartography table by opening the misc section of the build menu - you will also need to be near your workstation before you can place it.

When you find the cartography table, place it down on the ground by left-clicking, and once placed, you can use it to share your map and all discovered locations with friends or other players when they join your game.

First, you will need to head to the end of the table and hit record all discoveries as shown above.

Doing so will save your map, and then players can get your map from the cartography table by walking up and hitting e on it, as shown above.
