Valorant Patch 6.05 improves Wingman’s planting ability

Read all the major changes regarding Gekko!

After receiving several complaints about the planting and defusing capabilities of Wingman in the past week, Riot Games are improving the skill of Wingman in the new update. According to the latest Valorant 6.05 patch notes, the Gekko player will no longer face issues with Wingman's planting and defusing capabilities on a highly elevated surface. The developers have also fixed several minor issues related to Gekko, including faulty animations, wrong orb models, and UI errors.

All Agent changes and fixes in Valorant Patch 6.05

Most of the character changes in Valorant Patch 6.05 are mainly related to Gekko. You can read all the major highlights from the below list.

  • As mentioned earlier, Gekko's Wingman ability can plant/diffuse much better, especially on higher surfaces.
  • Fixed several bugs related to faulty animations for all of Gekko's abilities.
  • Resolved an issue where the game would spawn white-colored orbs instead of the original.
  • Fixed a problem where Gekko was not able to plant the spike if Wingman was stopped from planting earlier.
  • The game UI will no longer show the Gekko's ultimate on screen if you ended a round holding Thrash.
  • Fixed a bug where Wingman would not be able to take melee damage

All Gameplay changes and fixes in Valorant Patch 6.05

  • Resolved a major bug where players can no longer download more than ten crosshair profiles in their account.
  • Fixed an issue with the flickering of the invite menu.
  • Players will no longer see whitespaces after sending a friend request to other players.
  • Fixed a bug where players would still see all pending friend request after turning the auto-reject feature.
  • Players can no longer avoid taking damage by crouching from damage-over-time area abilities.
