A Chip off the ol' block.

One of the best aspects of World of Warcraft was the addition of pet battles in the Mists of Pandaria expansion. This system should be familiar to anyone even remotely aware of the Pokémon franchise. An entire decade later, the Dragonflight expansion is ensuring pet collection and battles remain at the forefront of players' minds with a slew of new pets being added. One of the said pets, Chip the stone elemental, is rising up the ranks. Here's how to add it to your collection.

Rock of Aegis drops from the Elite enemies outside the Obsidian Citadel. Pre-Sentient Rock Cluster drops off mobs in the Dragonflight pre-patch event or the Primal Terrasentry in the Ruby Life Pools dungeon. Element-Infused Blood drops from the Khakad the Ancient Elite mob and the Wild Poro-Drakes in the same area.

As a battle pet, Chip is no slouch. At level 25, it has 1481 health, 293 power, and 260 speed. It can learn the abilities Obsidian Bite, Sandstorm, Leech Life, Stone Rush, Stoneskin, and Quicksand. These abilities make it a threat to multiple enemy types, but it is strongest against mechanical types.
