The World of Warcraft Dragonflight 10.0.7 update added the Onyx Annulet ring, a powerful piece of gear that can be upgraded to 424 item level. This is done by upgrading the Primordial Stones that get socketed into the ring. Here's how to do that.
How to upgrade Primordial Stone gems in Dragonflight
Players can upgrade the gems and get the ring all the way to 424 item level if they are Jewelcrafters. Jewelcrafters need the Unstable Elementium recipe that drops from the Jewelcrafting rare spawn Amephyst, an NPC who is summoned with the Crystal Tuning Fork. This all requires a bit of luck, so it will take some time to accomplish. The Onyx Annulet starts at a 405 item level, and socketing the gems at base value bumps it up to 411.

Once the recipe is obtained, players need 10 Dormant Primordial Fragments and 25 Silken Gemdust to upgrade the gem to 418. Doing it a second time will bump the gem up to 424. It's certainly a process, but more than worth it for players trying to get the most out of their Onyx Annulet.
Where to get Primordial Stone gems in Dragonflight
These Primordial Stone gems can be found in the Zskera Vaults at the Forbidden Reach. Players open up the vault doors with the Zskera Vault Keys, and behind each door is a chest that contains one of the gems.
There are many different gems that were added in with the 10.0.7 patch, and as a result, it could end up taking players a while to track down exactly what they need for their spec. Luckily, the Onyx Annulet gems can be swapped out at will, so players are never locked into a decision permanently.
