Combat can be a little difficult to tackle in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, but Master Art combos are among the best tools players can use to make the game easier. In a game with multiple classes, each with several arts to master in them, it's remarkable to see how well some of these skills work together. Earning these skills takes little investment too, it's just important to remember that characters can only learn arts from the opposite faction's classes (Agnus or Keves).
Which Master Arts are best to combine in Xenoblade Chronicles 3?
Inferno Dance and Leveling Fire
This is a highly risky combo, but it can also devastate enemies. Both of these abilities take some HP off the top of the user, but Leveling Fire can boost Attack as well. This can set up a huge AOE Inferno Dance, which also burns the enemy. Definitely a good idea to try with a strong medic on the team.
Cross Impact and Hidden Thorn
This combination works the same way that Garchomp might use Swords Dance and Earthquake in Pokémon. Cross Impact provides a huge power buff, meaning loads of offensive abilities could take advantage of it. Hidden Thorn is an ideal candidate for this, thanks to its huge damage output.
Energy Grenade and Determination
These two abilities from Yumsmith have some dreadful consequences for enemies. Energy Grenade creates a field that deals continuous damage to enemies. Determination is another field that drastically buffs the Attack power of teammates, so having both fields active at the same time can allow players to roll over enemies in a hurry.
Aqua Mind and Saber Slash
Lifesage is one of the better support classes, especially with these two arts. Aqua Mind sets up a field where characters can heal up continuously. Saber Slash then provides an AOE heal, so it's a quick way to get damage off while healing up the team.

Maximum Voltage and Giant Swing
The Ogre class is full of powerful attacks, making it a path well worth traveling down. Maximum Voltage gives an Attack buff and is a powerful tool in its own right. Players should try pairing it with something like Giant Swing, which provides knockback.
Wide Slash and Glow Ring
These two arts are why it's always worth leveling up Zephyr in any playthrough. Wide Slash renders the user invincible while it charges. Glow Ring is great for singling out one enemy and locking them down. This essentially takes them out of the fight in a Xenoblade version of crowd control, and the protection from Wide Slash will keep the user healthy.
Tyrant Cross and Havoc Slayer
The Machine Assassin class is all about debuffing the enemy. Players can get lucky with the random debuff that Tyrant Cross gives. If they can get an Attack or Defense debuff, Havoc Slayer can be used to spread that effect to other enemies in an AOE.

Impulse Wave and Jackal Claw
This combination is phenomenal at dealing with large groups of enemies. Impulse Wave gives stronger buffs for the number of enemies on the field (caps at 200%). Jackal Claw gives the user increased evade, so if that character can stay healthy, they can keep up Impulse Wave throughout the fight.
Aureole and Resonant Flag
Using Aureole can seem a little intimidating since the buff it provides is random. When paired with Resonant Flag, though, the implications of this art can be huge. Resonant Flag shares the buff the user gets with the rest of the squad, making everyone stronger.
Glitter Stream and Aerial Slash
Incursor is a really fun class to play with, especially with these two abilities. Aerial Slash provides invincible frames along with a juicy critical hit buff. It's only natural, then, that it should be paired with an ability that provides a break like Glitter Stream.
