How to join a Faction in New World

If you want to join one of the various factions in New World, you will first need to level up to level 12 in the game. After this point, you will be given an opportunity to join one of three factions in the game: The Covenant, The Syndicate, and The Marauders. 

The difference between these factions is not by much and only by the different kinds of armor you can get and lore in the game. So we recommend choosing whichever suits you, as explained in our best factions guide.

However, if you want to get to the point where you can join one of these factions, we recommend farming XP. To start farming, we recommend playing with friends as in a group you will gain XP a lot faster than as a solo player. 

Nonethless, it's still possible to farm levels as a solo with the methods we are about to describe - it will just take a smidge longer. That being said, start with the basics and accept and complete every quest you can get. 

After this farm, every PvE event you see pop up on the world map as these will be awesome sources of XP, gold, and even loot. Then the final method would be to farm monster dens and kill all of the enemies that reside in them. Do all of this like clockwork, and you should reach level 12 in no time.
