If Astro Bot winning the Game of the Year award is not enough to convince you to play the game, then its Christmas-themed level just might. Called 'Winter Wonder' it features all the mechanics we've come to know and love tinted in beautiful red and green.

On top of it, the level is being offered as a free addition instead of being a paid DLC making it a potential for becoming a holiday classic. Note that you'd have to complete the main campaign to play at this holiday-themed level.

Holidays are all about returning home to the calm and cozy, and Stardew Valley captures it perfectly. This cute farming simulator has you tending to your own farm all while attending various events throughout the year.

One such fest is the Feast of the Winter Star, which takes place on the 25th of every year. The game also supports multiplayer, allowing you to play with your loved ones. However, it is not cross-platform which means everyone has to play the game from the same system.

Every year since 2014, Rockstar Games has hosted the Festive Surprise within GTA Online's world of Los Santos. What is usually a sunny and warm climate turns into a snow-filled and festive place with the studio's update once a year.

It usually runs for about two weeks and ends at the beginning of January. During this time, you can have snowball fights and slide around in your car while continuing to wreak havoc and cause chaos during the holidays!

Just because you're Spider-Man doesn't mean you don't get cold! Zip around New York City in your puffer jacket and beat up the bad guys whilst taking in the sights and lights!

Like the previous entry on this list, there are noticeable Christmas decorations dotted around NYC and some lovely street lights. Add some snow on top of that (which it does), and you've got a merry little web-slinging Christmas!

From listening to Christmas tunes on car radios while driving, to killing zombies with holiday-related weapons, there's a lot to do in this installment, making it the perfect choice for seasonal celebrations and zombie slaying.
