How to weaken wild Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Reduce their health.

A vital aspect of the Pokémon series is finding and catching Pokémon. This is done by battling them and weakening them enough to catch them. The weaker the Pokémon is, the greater your odds of successfully catching it. Here's how you can weaken wild Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

To weaken wild Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you battle them and attack them with your own Pokémon's moves. The damage you inflict is tracked by the wild Pokémon's life bar. This will change from green to yellow, and finally to red as you inflict more damage.

Keep in mind that if you inflict too much damage, the Pokémon will faint. You will be unable to capture a fainted Pokémon, so you will need to weaken it just enough to catch it but not enough to make it faint. The amount of damage you inflict depends on typing, stats, and level.

Also note that your Pokémon can also take damage in battle. If all of your Pokémon faint, then weakening the wild Pokémon will be for nothing, as you will not be able to catch it. So make sure you pay attention to both Pokémons' health!
