Roblox’s 2022 Cinematic showcases the many feats and possibilities of the platform

While they likely aren't a surprise for those familiar with the endless library of experiences that exist on Roblox, videos that highlight the platform's massively impressive breadth and creativity, such as the 2022 Roblox Cinematic, can be exceptionally eye-opening for the outside viewer. These types of videos serve as a strong showcase of everything that Roblox developers are capable of in terms of design. They also prove that Roblox's demand is constantly increasing as hundreds of new users join the platform each day.

In 2021 alone, Roblox averaged around 200 million active users each month, with nearly 44 million active users logging on to play each day, breaking their previous records and creating an exciting start for the rest of the year. Now, in 2022, Roblox has hit the ground running.

Beyond the 2022 Cinematic embedded above, Roblox has also been celebrating and welcoming the new year by posting a handful of brief developer interviews to their YouTube channel. Each less than a minute long, these interviews feature various Roblox developers recapping their favorite part of 2021 and looking ahead to what they're most excited for in 2022. Popular developer younite, who recently joined forces with Roblox for the first time to transform his experience, Roliday, into an official Roblox led event, was included in this list of interviewees.

Though 2022 has just begun, it's already easy to see which experiences will be owning the platform this year, along with which creators, both developers and YouTubers, will be running the show.
