Best Nature for Misdreavus and Mismagius in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Which Natures are best for these floating Pokémon?

In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Natures will affect a Pokémon's stats. One stat will be raised by 10%, while another will be lowered by 10%. This may not seem like a big change, but increasing a Pokémon's strongest stat and lowering its weakest stat can make it perform much better in battle and set it apart from others. All Pokémon will have a Nature by default, which you can find in the Pokémon's summary screen.

In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Misdreavus and Mismagius are Ghost-type Pokémon with an interesting stat makeup. Normally players will look for a Nature that compliments a Pokémon's best stat while lowering its worst. With Misdreavus and Mismagius, there are three stats tied for their strongest. This gives players a lot of versatility in their playstyle and choice of Nature when using these Pokémon.

Best Natures

  • Timid: Speed (+), Attack (-)
  • Modest: Special Attack (+), Attack (-)

How to choose the best Nature

Misdreavus and Mismagius share special attack, special defense, and speed as their highest stat, so players can go with any Nature that raises one of these stats to make the Pokémon more efficient in battle. Timid and Modest are great choices for stats, with Timid raising the Pokémon's speed stat, and Modest raising its special attack. Players choosing either of these stats should be sure to avoid physical attacks as they will be lowered with Timid and Modest.

A Pokémon's best Nature will ultimately come down to the player using it. While it is a good idea to increase a Pokémon's best stat with its Nature, players should go with a Nature that compliments their playstyle the best.
