How to unlock the Ultima Weapon in Kingdom Hearts 2.5 ReMix

The Ultima Weapon holds the throne as the most powerful Keyblade in all of Kingdom Hearts 2.5 ReMix. Unfortunately, unlocking it does involve a little extra legwork outside of the main story. Like the first game, gathering rare items to synthesize blueprints is the primary task, and can take a fair few hours to round up.

As well as collecting all of the necessary items, you will also need to level up any Moogle to level 2 before being able to build the blade. Once the recipe has been collected from the Twilight Town Mansion, all items have been prepped for synthesis, and the Moogle has acquired enough experience, you will be able to forge the Holy Grail of Keyblades.

What items are needed to craft the Ultima Weapon?

• [1] Ultima Weapon Recipe - You can find this in the Twilight Town Mansion, where Donald and Goofy were found sleeping during the prologue.

• [7] Orichalcum+
  • a) Complete all five chapters of Atlantica.
  • b) Complete 100 Acre Wood.
  • c) Item box in The Brink of Despair at The World That Never Was.
  • d) After beating Xemnas in The World That Never Was, complete the Goddess of Fate Cup in the Olympus Coliseum.
  • e) Item box in Twilight Town's Sunset Terrace.
  • f) Item Box in Space Paranoid Central Computer area.
  • g) Speak to any Moogle after synthesizing one of every item.

• [3] Orichalcum - Found in random boxes in most worlds, excluding Twilight Town.

• [1] Mythril Crystal - Found in random boxes in most worlds. A level 8 Moogle also has the power to synthesize a Mythril Crystal.

• [1] Dense Crystal - Obtained by defeating Berserker Nobodies in The World That Never Was.

• [1] Twilight Crystal - Obtained by defeating Sorcerers in The World That Never Was.

• [1] Energy Crystal - Obtained by defeating Bookmasters in the Hollow Bastion Radiant Gardens.

• [7] Serenity Crystal - Obtained by handing in complete synthesis sets to Moogle vendors.
