Lost Ark: Striker vs. Wardancer vs. Scrapper vs. Soulfist – Which advanced Martial Artist class to choose

Choosing a class in Lost Ark is a difficult decision. There are a few main classes that each break down further into advanced classes. The Martial Artist class has four advanced classes, Striker, Wardancer, Scrapper, and Soulfist.

Of the four advanced Martial Artists classes, the Scrapper is the one that stands out. Scrappers can have less mobility than other Martial Artist classes, but make up for it with low cooldown times and massive DPS output. Striker and Wardancer are two versions of the same class, and while being good for beginners, they lack the damage needed to stay viable in late-game. Soulfist is one of the highest DPS classes in the game, but its reliance on energy in battle can be a hindrance. If players run out of energy, they have to wait until it is refilled to continue the fight.

Striker

Striker is a class that focuses on melee attacks and elemental damage to carry out heavy blows against enemies. The Striker class can be fast-paced but isn't overly complicated. This can be a great choice of class for new players.

Wardancer

Wardancer is essentially a female version of the Striker class. They share much of the same ability and perks. Like Striker, Wardancer has great mobility and relies on fast, close-ranged melee attacks to deal damage to opponents.

Scrapper

The Scrapper is a bulkier advanced Martial Artist class. These characters operate best as tank/DPS as they can deal huge amounts of damage and have a great health pool. Scrappers rely heavily on melee attacks in battle but also have less mobility than other Martial Artist advanced classes.

Soulfist

Soulfist can be a tough class to master, especially for newer players. They are extremely versatile as they can perform well with ranged or close melee attacks and comes with a wide array of abilities. If used well, the Soulfist can be one of the best classes in Lost Ark.
