How to defeat Clawstriders in Horizon Forbidden West?

How do you defeat these bird-like machines?

The Clawstrider is a pesky machine in Horizon Forbidden West. Their primary mode of attack is their tail, where they will slice players and shoot projectiles at high velocity. An easy way to defeat this machine is to take out its Razor Tail. This will disable all tail-based attacks meaning players won't have much to worry about in a battle against them.

Completing a Cauldron usually means traversing through its dungeon-like corridors and facing off against a boss at the end. The Clawstrider is a part of the IOTA Overrides Cauldron.
