How to unlock all characters in Raft (and where to find them)

Raft has a total of four new characters players can unlock in the game. To unlock any of these characters, you need first to find them. However, the world in Raft is vast, so finding all four may seem quite challenging. Luckily finding all four is not as difficult as you might think. Here's where to find and how to unlock all characters in Raft. 

How to unlock Elaine in Raft

To unlock Elaine in Raft, you must find her on Tangaroa Island. On the massive dome island, you can find Elaine inside, sitting in a chair. But before you can get Elaine as a character, you must complete 100 percent of the story.

How to unlock Johnny in Raft

You can unlock Johnny in Raft by finding them on Balboa Island. But to reach Johnny, you need to head deep into the island and find them inside a tower. At the top of this tower, you will find Johnny sitting on a bed.

How to unlock Tala in Raft

To unlock Tala in Raft, users must locate her at the Radio tower. Once at the Radio tower, you will need to scale the complex and reach the top floor. On the top floor, Tala sits next to a table with a radio on it. Speaking to her, like with the other characters, unlocks her as a playable character.

How to unlock Shogo in Raft

If you want to unlock Shogo, you must find them in the Temperance Ice Island in Raft. On the Island, Shogo is inside the underground research complex.

How to select a new character in Raft

Once you have all four characters unlocked in Raft, you can select them by creating a new game. You can find and choose all four characters via the character tab in the character creation menu. After selecting your new character, launch the game, and you can play as your newly unlocked character. For example, you can build items like beehives, collect resources, research new items, and everything you did during your first playthrough but now with a new character.
