If you are playing Tribes of Midgard's Survival mode lately, you probably have some questions regarding crafting. In short, crafting in Tribes of Midgard's survival mode has changed drastically with the Inferno Saga update and no longer functions the same as Saga mode.
The first major change is that the Survival mode no longer has a Village hub that serves as the crafting area in the game. So instead of visiting various Village crafting stations and NPCs, players must build a new item called an Allforge. The Allforge functions as a starting workbench, but instead of making items, you must use the Allforge to make crafting stations. These crafting stations replace the previous Village NPC/crafting stations' role before the Inferno Saga update.
That said, crafting stations inside the Allforge allow you to craft everything that you could craft previously with Village crafting stations. Crafting stations also need to be upgraded, but instead of just using souls like with Village stations, you must get various resources in the game.
All crafting stations will require specific resources and can be upgraded to a max rank of level five. At level five, all items you can craft in Tribes of Midgard will unlock inside the respective crafting station. Another interesting thing to note is that you must build specific crafting stations to unlock certain crafting functions like making potions or certain resources.
For example, to unlock making potions, you must build a Meal cauldron and upgrade it to level three. Upgrading a Meal cauldron to level three unlocks another crafting station called a Potion Brewer that allows you to make potions in Tribes of Midgard.
