Voruna is a very strange Warframe. All four of her abilities lack any sort of synergy with each other. Instead, all four have an active and passive mechanic that act on their own accord. Knowing this, we considered building her for one or two of her abilties, but because of the inherit lack of synergy, that didn't feel great to play. In the end, we went a generalist build, focusing instead on providing her generalist buffs to her Duration, Effciency, Range and Strength. Here's how to build Voruna in Warframe.
How to build Voruna in Warframe: Lua's Prey
The build we've come up with relies upon mostly basic mods that are easily obtainable. However, due to her poor survivability at high levels, we were forced to add an end-game defensive mod to the mix. This is the best non-forma'd build we could come up with:
- Rejuvenation: Buffs her sustain.
- Intensify: Buffs the damage of second and fourth power, but most of her fourth due to the nature of it.
- Stretch: Buffs the range of her second and fourth power.
- Primed Continuity: Buffs the duration of all of her abilities, a big plus to her mechanically. If you don't have Primed Continuity, use Continuity instead.
- Vitality: Boosts her health pool. She lacks defensive power and massive suffers from survivability issues at higher levels.
- Streamline: Reduces the energy cost of her powers. You'll be using them often to change her passive or use her actives.
- Rage: Her poor shields can be used as a weapon, allowing her to simultaneously take hits and recharge energy.
- Adaptation: The end-game mod we spoke of earlier. Without this mod, we couldn't find a way to reasonably sustain Voruna during Steel Path content. Her survivability is very poor, so mods must solve the issue.
We also opt to use Arcane Guardian Rank 5 to further boost her survivability, and Arcane Avenger Rank 5 for extra damage.
