Wandering Evenstar – How to get, Ascension, stats, and who can use it in Genshin Impact

An amazing catalyst for support and sub-DPS units!

The Wandering Evenstar is a Genshin Impact four-star catalyst that scales off Elemental Mastery, making it a great option for characters used for triggering Elemental Reactions. Its passive offers a party-wide Attack boost, further enhancing its usage among support units. If you managed to pull for this limited four-star catalyst, here's everything you need to know about it.

How to get Wandering Evenstar in Genshin Impact

Wandering Evenstar is a limited banner weapon, so you can only pull it whenever it's featured on the current Epitome Invocation banner. Whenever this catalyst is on rotation, you can pull for it on rate-up using Primogems or Intertwined Fates. However, being a four-star weapon, you can't chart an Epitomized Path for Wandering Evenstar. Obtaining it will depend on your luck.

Genshin Impact Wandering Evenstar stats

  • Base Attack: 42 to 510
  • Substat: Elemental Mastery (36 to 165)
  • Passive: Wildling Nightstar
    • The following effect will trigger every 10 seconds: The equipping character will gain 24/30/36/42/48 percent of their Elemental Mastery as bonus Attack for 12 seconds, with nearby party members gaining 30 percent of this buff for the same duration. Multiple instances of this weapon can allow this buff to stack. This effect will still trigger even if the character is not on the field.

Who can use Wandering Evenstar in Genshin Impact

The Wandering Evenstar is a great weapon for catalyst users whose primary role is triggering Elemental Reactions and dealing off-field damage. Its passive applies a party-wide buff that your main DPS can benefit from, so there's a lot of value in triggering the passive with an off-field attack. Since a lot of characters fit into this archetype, I find this catalyst a useful investment, as you can transfer it between units. But keep in mind to build them as support or sub-DPS units (for main DPS builds, you want to use more offensive weapons):
