Mualani is an upcoming five-star Hydro catalyst user expected to be released in Genshin Impact's Version 5.0 update. If you're interested in farming for Mualani in advance, here's everything you need to collect according to information released by leakers.

The information below is based on leaks and may not reflect Mualani's actual Ascension and Talent materials upon release. Keep the information with a grain of salt, and know that there may be changes once Version 5.0 is launched.

Mualani Level-up cost

You need to prepare the following resources to level Mualani up to 80 or 90.

Mualani Ascension materials & cost

You need to prepare 420,000 Mora and the following materials to fully Ascend Mualani to Ascension level six.

Mualiani is releasing alongside the new nation, Natlan, in Version 5.0, so her local specialty and boss materials can't be farmed until the region is released. According to leaks, you'll want to be on the lookout for the Sprayfeather Gill and Mark of the Binding Blessing, which can be farmed from the Goldflame Qucusaur Tyrant.

As a Hydro character, Mualani uses the Varunada Lazurite materials dropped by all Hydro Normal and World Bosses, including the Hydro Hypostasis, Oceanid, and the Iniquitous Baptist. Additionally, you can convert materials using the Crafting Table to turn any of your existing Gemstones into Hydro ones.

According to leaks, Mualani's common Ascension materials are whistles that can be farmed from sand warriors in Natlan. The Sentry's Wooden Whistle and Warrior's Metal Whistle will also be available for purchase from Paimon's Bargains in limited quantities per month as soon as Natlan drops in Version 5.0.

Mualani Talent level-up materials & cost

You must prepare 1,652,500 Mora and the following materials to level up all three of Mualani's Talents to level 10. It will cost less if you don't plan to triple-crown her.

Mualani's common Talent materials mirror her Ascension requirements, so you'll have to farm for quite a lot of Whistles. If you run out of them in your World, I suggest visiting a friend's World and asking for permission to farm.

Weekly Boss material & Crown of Insight

Crowns of Insight are limited rewards that can be obtained from big events and are usually limited to one per update, so play frequently to not miss out on them. Meanwhile, Mualani's Weekly Boss material is the Lightless Eye of the Maelstrom, which can be farmed from the All-Devouring Narwhal in Salacia Plain.
