Bayonetta 3 is bringing the sass, but can the Switch handle it?

Bayonetta is back and sassier than ever.

Bayonetta fans are used to the over-the-top action of the series and the sassy nature of the iconic demon-slaying witch, but Bayonetta 3 looks to be ramping things up to the extreme. This includes the sassiness of the series, as Bayonetta travels to various locations around the world and meets versions of herself.

The latest Bayonetta 3 trailer on the Nintendo YouTube channel showcases Bayonetta's tongue-in-cheek attitude. Angels, demons, and Homonculus are in double trouble as Bayonetta partners with Viola, a feisty witch in training, and her demon Chesire. Not only that, but fans will meet an entire coven of Bayonettas along the way.

We aren't too certain as to what Bayonetta 3's story will contain, but Singularity seems to be the driving antagonist in Bayonetta's path. We know the action looks better than ever with various transformations, new weapons, different perspectives, and a new character to control.

Bayonetta 3 launches on October 28, 2022, just in time for Halloween, the perfect holiday to celebrate Bayonetta's return. The third installment is certainly bringing the action and sass, but are Bayonetta fans ready for it?
