Cities Skylines 2 – How to turn on autosave

Don't lose your progress!

Remembering to save your game while expanding your town in Cities Skylines 2 can become quite annoying, especially if you have a computer crash after not saving for awhile. That's why we'll show you how to easily turn on autosave!

You can not only turn on autosave in Cities Skylines 2, but you can also alter how often it saves and how many it keeps on hand. All you've got to do is briefly go into settings and you can begin making all the towns you want without losing progress!

How do you turn on autosave in Cities Skylines 2?

Turning on your autosave feature is not complicated at all in Cities Skylines 2, so don't fret. All you need to do first is go to your Settings menu. Then, look under the General section, which is the first option in the menu. Finally, go to the option that says Autosave and check the empty box. You can also alter how often it saves with Autosave intervals and how many autosaves it will keep on file with Autosave count.

Can you have multiple saves in Cities Skylines 2?

Some players of Cities Skylines 2 may wonder if they can have more than one city without erasing their current town. The answer is, yes you can. As long as your saves are under different names, they'll save just fine. And the autosave feature will not get in the way of having multiple cities under your account. So create as many towns as you want!
