Best S-tier Killer Perks in Dead by Daylight

Most of the time, the meta in Dead by Daylight is fast-paced, with Survivors rushing Gens and the Killers struggling to keep up. The goal for Killers is to slow down the game, especially at the beginning.

Corrupt Intervention

Plague's Corrupt Intervention blocks three gens farthest from the Killer spawn for 120 seconds. You are forcing Survivors to move towards you and perhaps 3-gen themselves (to leave unfinished generators on only one side of the map, making it easier for the Killer to patrol them).

Pop Goes the Weasel

Clown's Pop Goes the Weasel works exceptionally well for faster-moving killers like the Nurse. After hooking the first Survivor, your next aim should be to damage progressing generators. The initial damage will regress the gen by 30% and keep it regressing.

Best A-tier killer perks in Dead by Daylight

Hex: No One Escapes Death

A perk Survivors loathe and a way for Killers to still get kills if the gates are open, Hex: NOED remains ranked near the top. So long as you have one Dull Totem left standing, this perk can help you get last-minute bloodpoints by one-hit downing survivors.

Discordance

Legion's Discordance shows the Survivors' aura every time two or more are working on a gen together. Survivors can't ever really tell if you have this perk on or not; they can just doubt it. This doubt is helpful as they work on gens alone out of fear, slowing down the game and denying them a speed boost of working together.

Best B-tier killer perks in Dead by Daylight

Hex: Ruin

Hag's Hex: Ruin can be cleansed even at the start of the game if you are so unlucky that a Survivor finds it so quickly. But if it stays lit longer, you are ahead since all the gens not being worked on keep regressing. I've run around the map trying to find a lit Ruin one too many times to know how annoying it is and how much it slows the game down.

Overcharge

You might think Doctor's Overcharge works only on new players who can't hit skill checks well, but let me tell you, it can happen to anyone. Those difficult skill checks can sometimes jump-scare you, causing you to explode the gen, regress it, and attract the Killer's attention.

Best C-tier killer perks in Dead by Daylight

Monitor & Abuse

Monitor & Abuse (another Doctor perk) increases your terror radius. However, that terror radius reduces drastically if you are not in a chase. Both ways confuse the Survivors on your whereabouts, which you can use to your advantage.

Make Your Choice

After saving a Survivor from the hook, Make Your Choice (a Pig perk) activates and causes the player saving the Survivor to scream. This player is also exposed and can be one-shot downed during the next 60 seconds, so it's a good idea to chase them down as soon as possible.

Best D-tier killer perks in Dead by Daylight

Blood Warden

Nightmare's Blood Warden activates when the Exit Gates are open, and you hook a Survivor, blocking the rest from escaping for 60 seconds. While this perk can prolong the endgame and get you more kills, it doesn't often activate. The Survivors tend to 99 the gates while saving hooked Survivors.

Bloodhound

You should use Wraith's Bloodhound if you're not great at tracking down Survivors like me. Pools of blood left on the ground by injured Survivors are more vividly red and last longer than usual, allowing you to find and kill them.
