How to complete The Treasure Hunt in Disney Dreamlight Valley

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, Scrooge McDuck is all about money. His level eight friendship quest, The Treasure Hunt, sends you around the Village looking for clues to find a treasure he hid before The Forgetting. Here's how to complete it.

The Treasure Hunt quest guide for Disney Dreamlight Valley

To start this quest, find and talk to Scrooge McDuck. He's usually manning his store. He'll give you a coin that will turn into a memory when you interact with it. It pictures three locations. You'll need to go to each location and find a clue, then return to Scrooge.

The first clue is in the Glade of Trust, nearby the waterfall. You'll need to use your Royal Shovel to dig it out. The spot you'll need to dig will have golden sparks. The digging spot should be located in the area where the player character is standing above.

The second clue is inside Merlin's house. You can find it on the floor directly in front of his desk. Pick it up, and you'll have clue number two.

The last clue is in Dazzle Beach. You'll have to use your Royal Shovel and dig again. The digging spot you're looking for is nearby the ramp between the Peaceful Meadow and Dazzle Beach. Look for the cracks in the ground and golden sparkles shooting up. It should be in about the location the player character is standing at in the screenshot above.

Once you have all three clues, return them to Scrooge McDuck, and you'll be all finished.

How to unlock The Treasure Hunt in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Unlocking this quest requires you to have raised your friendship level with Scrooge McDuck to level eight. You'll also need to have completed his prior friendship quests: Customers Know Best, A Forgotten Combination, and What's Bad for the Business. Ensure you've also unlocked the Glade of Trust Biome for 5,000 Dreamlight points.
