Can you remove weapon mods in Dying Light 2?

Make sure you like your augments.

Dying Light 2 is the latest survival horror experience from Techland and expands upon the 2015 release in various ways. With new enemies, weapons, and abilities for players to experience in the highly-anticipated sequel. There are many ways to tweak how weapons perform in the game, but can players remove weapon mods in Dying Light 2?

Unfortunately, players can't remove weapon mods once equipped in Dying Light 2. Because there is no way to swap mods in Dying Light 2, it makes which mods you prepared even more important when playing. Make sure that you're content with your mod choice, as you won't get another chance to fill the slot. Some weapons have multiple mod slots, with the maximum being three, giving a bit more freedom when customizing them.

Like weapons, mods come in various rarities and upgrade levels that boost their effectiveness in Dying Light 2. We recommend upgrading mods as much as possible before equipping them for increased rarity and improved impact, as they can't be augmented once slotted on a weapon. Head to the nearest Craftmaster to upgrade your weapon mods.
