Dying Light 2 is set to come out soon, with players excited for another delve into the complex world that was introduced in the first game. Dying Light 2 will feature a multiplayer campaign where up to three friends can join players at a time.
How will Co-op work in the campaign?
Developers have revealed that the Co-op campaign will not be available from the very beginning of the campaign, but rather players will unlock the option to play with friends as they progress through the story.
Dying Light 2 is a massive and ambitious game that promises players many story-changing decisions throughout the game. If players are joined by friends, the decisions will ultimately be made by the player hosting the game. Players joining a game as a guest will be able to vote on decisions, but the host will have the final say-so.
With many quests and items in the world of Dying Light 2, players will definitely be filling up on weapons and armor while playing with friends. Any loot and progress made in a multiplayer game will carry over once players leave a multiplayer session. No fear of losing that cool bow you found while playing with your friend!
