Earthblade jumps and fights its way into 2024

A new tale by a legendary studio.

Earthblade is the long-awaited follow-up to Celeste and Towerfall, titles by developer Extremely OK Games. Both titles were critically acclaimed thanks to their tight gameplay and, in the case of Celeste, fantastic story.

Earthblade received a new trailer during The Games Awards 2022 hosted by Geoff Keighley Games Awards 2022 live stream, revealing the title would release in 2024. This gives Extremely OK Games plenty of time to perfect their upcoming title and ensure it is up to snuff.

Earthblade is a 2D explorer-action game in a seamless world featuring gorgeous pixel art. Players take control of Névoa, a mysterious child of Fate returning to Earth. You can expect challenging combat, puzzles, and numerous mysteries to uncover as you progress through Earthblade.

Earthblade combines the best of Celeste and Towerfall and promises to offer a unique experience. Extremely OK Games' track record should leave players expecting an experience to remember. Each game they produce offers a new take on their familiar formula, but elevates their story-telling abilities.
