If you have been playing Endless Dungeon for a while, you must have come across the word wit in the game. Like you, I also did not know the word's meaning in the game due to the lack of a proper explanation in the glossary menu.
But, thanks to a few of my friends and Reddit community members of Endless Dungeon, I understood the meaning of the stat and its effect on each hero. So, if you are a new player wanting to know more about the wit stat, read the below explanation.
What is wit in Endless Dungeon?
Wit is a hero stat that determines how fast your character can boost or repair turrets in the game. The higher the value of wit, the faster your hero can perform the given actions.
How to boost your turrets in Endless Dungeons
You can only boost your turrets in Endless Dungeons using your melee key. Stand near your turrets and perform a melee on it to give a boost. When activated, it will improve your fire rate and damage number of the turret by 2% per wit for the next 8 seconds. For example, if your character has a wit of 10, your fire rate and damage will increase by 20%. Remember, the fire rate has a limit, so anything above a certain amount will go toward scaling the damage numbers than the fire rate.
How to increase wit in Endless Dungeon
To increase the wit of your character, you must unlock chips that can scale your overall wit. Interact with the Gunsmith NPC in the Saloon lobby and open the character upgrade menu. Choose a hero and select a chip that upgrades your wit stat using the Cells currency. You can earn Cells by finishing stages or hero quests.
