FIFA 23 is the latest installment in the long-running FIFA franchise from Electronic Arts. It is a soccer simulation game with various online and offline game modes. Being an online multiplayer title, the game servers, especially the online FUT or FIFA Ultimate Team mode servers, can glitch out for various reasons arising from the main EA servers.

On that note, if you are facing any such server issues for FIFA 23, you should first check the official FIFA Twitter handle for any official statement regarding the server outages. If you do not find official posts/tweets, you can do a follow-up by visiting third-party websites like downdetector, which displays live data regarding the status of applications and games.

At the time of writing this article, there has been an official tweet from the EA communication department regarding some connectivity issues with the EA servers. The tweet also mentions that the developers are investigating the problem and will resolve it as soon as possible. 

What is the reason for the server outage?

FIFA 23 is in its early access phase, so it's natural to face such server outages right after its launch. Everything will be smooth sailing after its global launch on September 30, 2022. Further updates regarding the issue will be updated on the website once a resolution or fix is found.
