Fortnite Annual Pass 2020 – Price & Information

Our Fortnite Annual Pass 2020 Guide features all the information you need to know about this new addition to the game! It looks like Epic has decided to give players the ability to purchase a years worth of battle passes. Purchasing this bundle will come with some exclusive skins, so if you plan on playing Fortnite throughout the year then this will be well worth the cost.

All the information in this post is based on leaks. We expect there to be an official announcement relatively soon and possibly at the Game Awards that will be live on December 12th, 2019 at 8:30pm ET on Twitch or YouTube.

ANNUAL PASS CANCELED?!

It looks like Epic had the idea for this pass but it was eventually canceled. It seems that it was accidentally left in the 11.30 patch that went live today. It is unclear what will be done with those skins, but Epic at least did confirm that Bao Bros will come out in the Item Shop at some point! Here's the official word from Epic via Eurogamer:

"We've seen discussions around a 2020 Annual Pass as a result of data mining the v11.30 build," an Epic spokesperson told us. "Occasionally prototype features make it into our build that end up not being released. While the 2020 Annual Pass was considered, we have no plans to release it... unlike the Bao Bros."

What is the Annual Pass?

Purchase the 2020 Annual Pass and receive all upcoming 2020 Fortnite Battle Royale: Battle Bundles and 7 Annual Pass exclusive cosmetics. Battle Bundles unlock 25% of content in each Battle Pass instantly upon release.

It looks like you'll get all of battle passes, but the higher tier versions that unlock quite a bit of it when you purchase it. These are normally 2,800 V-Bucks, so that would be 11,200 V-Bucks in total if you were to purchase them normally. Epic appears to have four seasons planned for the year of 2020, and you can grab them all at once and get a few exclusive skins!
